STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD

For the 2024-2025 school year, Catharsis Productions is proud to have students from all colleges all over the country represented on our Student Advisory Board. These students help shape future prevention initiatives and play an active role in the programs we develop at Catharsis. By attending monthly virtual meetings and engaging in the review of materials between discussions, advisory board members:

• Review Catharsis programs and materials from the lens of diversity and more resistant audience members.

• Share innovative ways their collegiate communities have engaged in conversations around consent, bystander intervention, and healthy relationships. 

• Provide insight on what subject area marketing materials and messaging may resonate most with their peers.

• Collaborate on best practices in peer education by contributing to the group their own experiences as both discussion facilitator and participant.

• Discuss under-resourced populations, missing education opportunities, and innovative initiatives to engage in these areas.

• Brainstorm topical references or trends that can be leveraged to create relatability in messaging.
