Train the Trainer
Force of Awesome Institute
You’ve heard it before: the message is only as powerful as the messenger. Perhaps nowhere is that truer than in violence prevention programming. Overworked and underpaid, many professionals in these spaces are lucky to have time to read a bland slide deck verbatim and move on to the next crisis. You got into this field because you wanted to help people—but without the tools, support, and confidence to lead real conversations, even the best intentions can fall flat. That’s why Catharsis Productions’ Force of Awesome Institute focuses on building local capacity—empowering educators, advocates, and campus or corporate professionals to engage authentically, create space for hard dialogue, and sustain meaningful culture change from within their own communities.
