Catharsis Productions is proud to have developed and produced specialized versions of "Sex Signals" for each branch of the military - Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. Catharsis Productions has consulted with representatives from each branch in a conscientious effort to reflect the military jargon, customs, and courtesies of that particular branch of service within a customized script. Each program also incorporates the core values of the specific military branch, and utilizes these principles to empower military personnel to be allies in sexual assault prevention.

“I hope that all our military services consider your program for use at their installations. Few presentations make the lasting impressions that yours makes. Thank you for creating such an entertaining and thought provoking intervention.”

Michael L. Dominguez, Principal Deputy, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense

The audience response to these customized programs has been overwhelmingly positive.

The various military versions of "Sex Signals" have been presented as a keynote at each of the following conferences:

  • Department of Defense Symposium on the Intersection of Sexual Assault and Alcohol in the Military-Washington, D.C., 2008
  • The United States Army Summit on Sexual Assault Prevention-Washington, D.C., 2008
  • The United States Air Force Summit on Sexual Assault Prevention-Washington, D.C., 2008
  • SAPRO Navy SARC Conference-Tampa, FL, 2008
  • SAPRO Army SARC Conference-Tampa, FL, 2008

“I will not be just a bystander any longer. It opened my eyes even more and stressed the seriousness of this issue.”

In addition, "Sex Signals" has been incorporated into the United States Army's I. A.M. Strong Sexual Assault Prevention Campaign, rolled out by the SAPR G-1 Office in September of 2008. The "Sex Signals" Army version program is a key component in the Secretary of the Army's effort to eradicate sexual assault from its ranks. By September of 2009, over 400 presentations of "Sex Signals" will have been produced at Army installations around the world, including visits to installations in Germany, Korea, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq.
